 | Meet the Artist!Yello! My name is Elis (the 'a' is silent). Online I go by Venus or Skdaffle. I am a 29 year old digital artist specializing in furry, toony, and fantasy content. Practically born with pencil in hand, I grew up constantly doodling and drawing. To this day, no piece of scrap paper is safe from me. My main influences are Pokemon, YuGiOh, Garfield, Neopets, and uncountable cartoons from the 90s-00s. I started digital art around 2007, with nothing but MS Paint, a mouse, and a love for creating. In 2009 my parents gifted me my first tablet, an intuos 3, that I still use to this day! For a decade, I built my skills through the art contests on Neopets.com. Real ones remember the trials and tribulations of the Beauty Contest xD I began taking commissions in 2016, when my skillhouse lead me to the wonderful and bizarre furry fandom. I owe everything to the amazing support of this community, and the friends far and wide I made along the way <3 When I'm not drawing for work or pleasure, I indulge in various hobbies. I enjoy singing in the shower, practising yoga, hitting the gym, growing venus fly traps, cooking up tasty meals, and of course playing Pokemon Games, OG YuGiOh TCG, and Neopets. |
